Merry Christmas from the Lambs! (this is our Christmas card)

I love Christmas cards in the mail, but it's so expensive! We'll do it next year after we get some cute family pictures taken, okay? Okay. So here are the happenings of 2010:

Eden: (2) Our shortest member is known for her skills in song and dance. She loves to sing with mommy, and is currently our only child who will sing without a bribe. Sweet, huh? She also likes to "be" things. She claimed to be a raccoon for 3 weeks straight, and if we called her anything but "Raccoon", she would say, "No, I's a raccoon." She's such a fun little side kick, and likes to help with everything mommy-related. We love, love, love this little angel!

Bennett: (5) Being middle-child seems to fit our Bennett well. He's a thoughtful, sweet brother. He loves Kindergarten, and is doing great with reading. He can read some of his little books all the way through, and he's so excited about that! He also works really hard at his chores, and cleans that toilet like a pro. (Happy day!) And last, but not least, he likes to wrestle his Daddy to the ground repeatedly. (I think he may be made of rubber.)

Chandler: (7) The mighty seven-and-a-half-year-old-man-child in our house is also loving school. He's in 2nd grade, and is liking math and reading a lot. He read through a whole handbook on insects last month from cover to cover (his choice)...he's a scientist in the making. He likes to write himself reminder notes, which I think is cute. When I pointed out that we wasn't straightening his sheet when he made his bed every morning, he immediately wrote a reminder on a post-it note and stuck it to his headboard. (That warms my heart more than it probably should.)

Jamie: (31) The Mommy of the house likes to do mommy-related things (just like Eden does). She gets outrageous amounts of satisfaction (it's kind of silly) in teaching her children to take care of themselves and their house. She hasn't cleaned the bathroom in months now, and gets a little misty-eyed just thinking about it. (For reals, it's SO NICE and I cannot get over it!) She also started a 4 week menu plan in 2010, and as a result is a much better cook than she once was. (For reals.) She is also expecting another baby girl in April, which also makes her really giddy.

Jarom: (32) Resident Surgeon, maker of puffy pancakes, and emptier of trash cans. Our Daddy/Husband is getting dangerously close to finishing his 5 year residency (18 months left), and is doing great. We love it when he is home with us, because he makes bread when Mom doesn't feel like it, and wrestles the boys when Mom doesn't feel like it (that's always). He thinks he's the luckiest guy in the world because he gets to perform surgeries all the time. He has lots of horrifying, gory stories to keep us up at night, but I won't share them here.

It's been a great year, and we hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!!! Love, The Lambs
